Education Road Map

So you want to be a Paramedic…Where do you start with your education?

Respond Right EMS Academy has made it very easy for you as you navigate your way through your education.  Here is your road map to becoming a Paramedic:

1.  EMT Basic

EMT Basic is the first level of training.  Training will include basic assessments, dealing with medical and trauma emergencies, and using emergency medical equipment.

2.  Anatomy & Physiology

A & P is a pre-requisite for the Paramedic program.  The class at Respond Right EMS Academy has been specifically designed to meets the pre-requisite requirement for the Paramedic Program.  It is NOT a replacement for Anatomy & Physiology I and/or II.  It will NOT meet your requirements for nursing school.

3.  Paramedic Program

Paramedics provide Advanced Life Support including medical evaluation, treatment and stabilization of the critically ill and injured; responds to emergency rescue situations involving potential loss of life or bodily injury; maintains control, manages and directs patient care at the scene of a pre-hospital emergency; provides training and instruction to lesser trained personnel; performs other duties as required.
