Steps to Apply

Now registering for the following Paramedic Program:

Spring Track –

A&P – Jan 8th – 6pm – 10pm – Register/Apply by Dec 18 for A & P

Paramedic class – March 21 – 8am – 4:30pm

 

Paramedic Program – Deadline for applications – Feb 28, 2018

Next start date:

DAY CLASS – March 21, 2018

  • Applications are due no later than Feb 28, 2018.
    • No applications will be accepted past this deadline.
    • If you do not already have A&P, then you need to apply for A&P and Paramedic
  • Day 1 is Orientation and is mandatory for attendance.
  • Missing day 1 will count as an absence.
  • Some weekend days will be required for specialty classes.
  • Some evening classes will be required for specialty classes.
  • Class meets from 8 am – 4:30 pm
  • End date for this class* – April 2019

* End Date – End date could vary per student depending on the progress of completion of clinical and field internships.

Application Process

Students Who Have Not Attended EMT Class at RREMSA

  1. Apply to Respond Right EMS Academy (This is a one-time application that covers EMT, A&P and Paramedic. Application is valid for 12 months.)  
    • Download and complete application and pay $50 application fee (non-refundable and non-transferrable.)
    • Complete Drug Screening
      • Must be completed within the last 3 months.
      • Visit “Any Lab Test Now” and complete the 10-panel drug screen.
    • Complete Missouri Background Check
    • Complete and pass an entrance exam
      • $25 fee for the entrance exam. Must schedule the entrance exam with administration.
    • Receive letter of acceptance into Respond Right EMS Academy
  2. Register & Pay 
    • Register for your “Track to Become A Paramedic”.
    • Total due: $2,925
      • $450 to hold your seat in A&P
      • $2,475 to hold your seat in the Paramedic Program
      • Full tuition can be paid, but this is the minimum amount due to hold your place in class.
  3. Complete the following and submit with application:
    • Two letters of recommendation
      • One of the letters must be from one of the following: a nurse, firefighter, paramedic, NP, PA or physician.
    • Submit proof of driver’s license, birth certificate or state ID to verify age.
    • Submit proof of social security card.
    • Proof of Anatomy & Physiology course (if taken outside of Respond Right EMS Academy)
      • Transcript must be sent directly to our office.
    • Submit proof of current Missouri EMT-Basic License.
      • Or a copy of your application for your EMT-B License.
    • Submit proof of health insurance card.
    • Submit documentation of a physical exam. This general physical exam needs to be performed by a MD, DO or NP within the last 12 months.
    • Submit documentation of Vaccination Records. You must provide the following: MMR or Antibody Titer Test, T-Dap, Flu shot (within season), Hepatitis B and Negative PPD in the last 12 months.
    • Purchase required textbooks (students must have textbooks for the first day of class)
    • Submit License Plate Number, make and model of vehicle.
    • Submit polo shirt size
    • Acknowledgement of the form Course Demands
      • Must be signed and notarized
    • Acknowledgement of the form Financial Commitment
      • Must be signed and notarized
    • Remit the remaining balance of tuition. Tuition must be paid in full at least 10 business days before the start of class.  No exceptions will be made.

 

Current Students Attending RREMSA

  1. Complete the Fast Track Application
    • Update your information and provide your EMT-B license number.
    • Register for your “Track to Become A Paramedic”.
    • Total due: $2,925
      • $450 to hold your seat in A&P
      • $2,475 to hold your seat in the Paramedic Program
      • Full tuition can be paid, but this is the minimum amount due to hold your place in class.
    • Complete and pass an entrance exam
      • $25 fee for the entrance exam. Must schedule the entrance exam with administration.
  1. Complete the following and submit with application:
