We strive to provide excellence in education and inspire our students through creative teaching methods and a realistic, professional learning environment.
Respond Right instructors are real-life firefighters and paramedics with years of experience in the field. Our instructors bring this experience into the classroom and create a dynamic learning experience for our students.
At Respond Right EMS Academy, we offer dedicated classroom and lab spaces for both the EMT program. We utilize the best equipment to simulate real-life practice. If you want to become an EMT, RespondRight is definitely the place to go. Chief Weiss and all of the instructors at RREMS are amazing and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. The program can definitely be challenging, but that’s what makes it so worthwhile. Everything is set up to prepare you for success, and if you put in the work, you’ll come out better prepared for both the assessment and the real world than you would be from anywhere else. Highly recommend!
My experience at Respond Right was incredible. The staff were profoundly knowledgeable and terrific at keeping even the largest classes constantly engaged with the material. I looked forward to every day of class, not only because of the great things I was learning, but also due to the people I was learning with and from. The friends I made will be friends for life. I was nervous going into it at first but everything about this course was straightforward and created a terrific learning experience, especially for someone with no background knowledge going into the subject.
Respond right is an amazing course for anyone interested in receiving their certification. I would never have hoped for a better learning experience. From the clinicals to the lessons everything was thorough and well thought out, and if I was ever unsure, the instructors were always right there to get me back on my feet. As far as the instructors go, Chief Weiss is one of the most respectable individuals I have ever met. One day spent with her would be all it takes to realize that she is devoted wholeheartedly to the cause.
All the instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone there went above and beyond to ensure our class succeeded. Anyone looking for an EMT class in STL should come here.
I was a hybrid student at RREMSA and if it wasn’t for this school and Chief’s program I wouldn’t even have the opportunity to pursue a career as a First Responder! As a hybrid student I was juggling life and school and it was alot to manage at times but as long as you put in the work Chief and the other staff members will have your back and do everything they can do to make sure you are successful

They answered any questions I had about the course, and gave me whatever advice I needed. I had an amazing experience with Respond Right. One of the biggest things for me was the way the course was structured. There is obviously a lot of information to learn as an EMT, and it can get overwhelming pretty quickly, but the way everything was broken down made it much easier to follow. I always felt like I knew what I needed to work on, what was coming next, and where I needed to put more effort. I also really liked that you’re given enough independence to learn and figure things out, but you’re not just left alone with the material either. There was always guidance when I needed it. Donna was a huge part of that experience for me. She is super attentive and actually pays attention to you as an individual student, not just whether you passed an assignment or a test. She is really good at lifting you up and helping you build confidence, but she also makes sure your feet still touch the ground. If you’re trying to run before you really learned how to walk, she’ll slow you down and make sure you actually understand what you’re doing first. Overall, I really liked the balance of the program. It gave me structure without feeling like I was being held by the hand through everything, and it gave me independence without making me feel like I was on my own. I’m really glad I chose Respond Right.Posted on Google Luke ChristmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was a hybrid student at RREMSA and if it wasn't for this school and Chief's program I wouldn't even have the opportunity to pursue a career as a First Responder! As a hybrid student I was juggling life and school and it was alot to manage at times but as long as you put in the work Chief and the other staff members will have your back and do everything they can do to make sure you are successful. I am moving on to a paramedic program and I feel like I have been set in the best way possible to be successful. Additionally, after finishing the program I went to do my licensing exam and practical and was able to pass the very first time! I can't recommend this school enough!Posted on Google Jacob CharmleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was pointed in this direction of this place called "Respond Right EMS Academy" for an EMT Class! Wow, there was a reason why they sent me here! In 9 weeks, I never knew that I can take in that much information! Chief Weiss and Parks were both amazing people and instructors, who truly cared about each and everyone of us that were in the class! If you didn't understand something, well.. They fixed that right up! They totally were with you every step of they way from Day One! One thing is for sure, I would send everyone that needed a class their way!
