Meet Chief Donna Weiss

Chief Donna Weiss | Owner, EMT Program Director, BLS Training Center Coordinator

Firefighter/Paramedic, AAS

Chief Weiss began her career as an EMT in 1998. In 1989 she began working as an Adjunct Instructor for St. Louis Community College and Christian Hospital Northeast until 2000. She worked as both an ALS EMT and Paramedic at Christian Hospital Northeast.  Chief Weiss served the North County Communities until she was hired as a Firefighter/Paramedic in 2000 by the Monarch Fire Protection District. She served in this capacity, even serving as an in house Instructor, until a career-ending injury in the Line of Duty in 2008.

Chief Weiss still felt she had many more years of service left to offer the FIRE/EMS Community, In 2001, she was a partner in starting Emergency Response Training, (now known as Respond Right EMS Academy) specializing in providing on site corporate training in CPR/AED. In December 2008, the focus of Respond Right shifted to EMS Education. Respond Right EMS Academy became the first private entity the State of Missouri accredited to have their own stand alone EMS Academy. Chief Weiss  continues to work tirelessly to keep Respond Right EMS Academy on the cutting edge of the EMS Education industry.
