How well do you know RESPOND RIGHT ACADEMY? Did you know…
RESPOND RIGHT EMS ACADEMY DOES NOT conduct an ACCELERATED Paramedic Program? Historically, programs require students to attend class 1 day a week for 8 hours with 1 day a month added to their schedule, for a total of 13 months, RESPOND RIGHT EMS ACADEMY students attend class 2 days a week, 8 hours each day for a total of 9 1/2 months. We feel this schedule benefits our students in several ways:
- Our students have a competitive edge by decreasing their time away from class. This structured environment keeps them better in tune with their studies, allowing for more hands on learning and better skills. It also provides more access to their instructor for didactic learning.
- It decreases the requirement for independent learning.
- Decreases the overall length of the Paramedic Program
Asked at the end of each semester to graduating students, their comments about the program are extremely positive. While they do attend 2 days a week, this prevents them from “slacking off”, keeping them more engaged in their studies. Commonly, they love completing the Paramedic Program approximately 4 months earlier than everyone else. This has definitely provided RESPOND RIGHT EMS ACADEMY students with a distinct advantage making them available for employment with a Fire or Ambulance District that much sooner!!!
The next Paramedic Course begins March 2, 2015. Class is close to full. If you are interested in acceptance into the Program, contact Geri at 314-713-1645.
